Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Enclave ("we", "us") is an upcoming private dating service for married adults (18+) in India, operated by its founding team. Enclave is in the process of being incorporated in India; this page will be updated with the company's name and registered address once that is complete. We are the "Data Fiduciary" for the personal data described here under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

This policy covers the early-access website and application form only. A separate, more detailed policy will apply when the Enclave app launches.

2. What we collect

We do not collect your name, phone number, photos, identity documents, precise location or contacts. We do not use cookies, advertising trackers, analytics companies or social-media pixels. All fonts and code are served from our own site, so no third party learns that you visited, with one exception: when you reach the final step of the application, a security check by Cloudflare runs to block bots (see section 4).

3. Why we use it

We will never sell your data, share it with advertisers, or contact anyone other than you. Any message we send will use neutral wording and will not mention dating.

4. Who processes it

Your data is stored with our database provider, Supabase Inc., on servers located in Sydney, Australia, under contract and access controls. It is encrypted in transit and at rest. Nobody outside Enclave's core team can read it, and the public website can only add applications, never read them. If we use an email provider to send your invite, it will receive only your email address for that purpose.

When you reach the last step of the application form, Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.) checks that you are a person and not an automated bot. To do this Cloudflare processes technical signals such as your IP address and browser characteristics. It does not use cookies for advertising and does not receive your answers or your email address. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy notice.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your application until Enclave launches in your city and you are invited. If you do not join within 12 months of being invited, or if Enclave does not launch within 24 months of your application, we delete it. Visit data is deleted after 12 months.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can, at any time and free of charge:

Write to the Grievance Officer below from the email address you applied with. We will respond within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

7. Security and breaches

We apply strict access controls, rate limits and data minimisation. If a breach affecting your data ever occurs, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.

8. Requests from others

We do not disclose whether any person has applied to Enclave to anyone, including spouses, family members or private investigators. We disclose data to authorities only when legally compelled by a valid order, and only the minimum required.

9. Adults only

Enclave is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 and will delete it immediately if we learn of it.

10. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects how we use your data, we will notify you at your contact detail before the change applies.

11. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it:

Grievance Officer, Enclave
